Entering the mouth and nasal cavity is air.
The dust is stopped from entering by tiny little hairs.
Air travels down the windpipe, from our nose and mouth and tongue…
And reaches alveoli right down inside our lungs.
A gas exchange occurs and oxygen keeps us alive. So we need the respiratory system in order to survive.
